26 July,2019 I am 90 years old . My father was a govt servant in the pre independence period. Under British rule, they was peace in the country. Whatever may be said about how they looted our country, people carried on with their daily life, raising a family, content with mundane things.Hindud Muslims Christians and other faiths coexixted without any conflicts. There was nothing wrong with the education system, vernacular schools coexisted with english mediums. I was a product if that very system., getting as good a grounding as anywhere in.the world. I was as good in language skills, literature, music, physical activity. Eventually all this couple with an excellent ,career in college, I was ready to.compete for the top career and did come out at the top. in govt and enter with distinction.
